Moral Parenting Trust (MPT)
(Amendment, Effective from 11 July 2025)
Preamble
We, the members of Moral Parenting Family (MPF), inspired by the values of morality, social responsibility, empathy, education, and to gain the Supreme Creator’s satisfaction established this Trust to serve indomitable talented student through scholarships, mentoring, character-building and skill development programs with the conviction to build a Moral Society. The trust was established in 11 July 2016 and registered on 22 November 2018 (No. 3986, Dolil No. 60).
In light of extensive long-term experience, it became essential to revise and update various provisions of the Constitution. As a result, the Constitution of the Moral Parenting Trust has been comprehensively rewritten. This revised Constitution shall come into effect upon its approval by the Board of Trustees on 23 May 2025. In the event of any inconsistency between this Constitution and the previously approved Trust Deed, the provisions of this Constitution shall take precedence, while all other provisions of the Trust Deed shall remain unchanged. The amendment Constitution will be effective from 11 July 2025.
Article I: Name and Nature
1.1 The name of the Trust shall be Moral Parenting Trust (MPT).
1.2 It shall be a non-profit, non-political, non-governmental, and charitable Trust governed by this Constitution and the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
1.3 The slogan of MPT / MPF is ‘More than Charity’; it is not just a charity, but a family bound by spiritual bonds.
1.4 The official name of the trust is Moral Parenting Trust (MPT) and it is well-known as Moral Parenting Family (MPF).
Article II: Vision, Mission, and Objectives
Vision
To build a Moral Society by parenting indomitable talented students.
Mission
To connect donors (Moral Parents) with deserving students (Moral Children), guided by ethical mentors (Campus Guardians), and to run value-based development programs to produce moral citizens for the nation.
Objectives
- To identify and support meritorious students from underprivileged backgrounds.
- To raise scholarships from kind-hearted donors (Moral Parents) in Bangladesh and abroad.
- To distribute scholarships transparently to selected students (Moral Children).
- To organize programs / courses for academic, moral, and life-skill development.
- To engage and empower teachers as Campus Guardians for local-level support and monitoring.
- To conduct programs or business to make the organization financially Self-reliant.
- To leverage online platforms for coordination, transparency, and outreach.
- To collaborate with educational institutions, NGOs, and other development partners.
Article III: Definitions
- Moral Parent: A donor who provides scholarships or other support to MPT / MPF.
- Moral Child: Indomitable talented student enrolled in MPT / MPF.
- Campus Guardian: A local teacher or social worker acting as mentor and liaison for MPT / MPF.
- Board of Trustees: The governing body responsible for strategic and policy decisions.
- Executive Committee: The operational wing responsible for program implementation.
- Advisory Panel: Combined group of Advisors and Country Ambassadors (Probashi) of MPF who contribute to the improvement and expansion of the trust.
- General Member: A person committed to the goals of MPT /MPF and registered as such.
Article IV: Legal Status and Address
4.1 The legal status of MPF shall be of a registered, non-profit charitable Trust.
4.2 The permanent Address shall be located in Village – Sonakur, P.O. – Pulum, Thana – Shalikha, Magura, Bangladesh with the possibility of branch offices as needed.

Article V: Trustees Structure
- Board of Trustees
- Includes Founder, Chairperson, General Secretary, Treasurer, and Members.
- Minimum of 5 and maximum of 25 members.
- Term: 3 years (continue up to the formation of another board).
- Lead by the founder (permanent); other members will be selected or elected in the AGM.
- Ensure a minimum of 25% female representation, with no discrimination based on caste, religion, or geographic location.
- Powers:
- Set long-term goals and approve policies.
- Appoint the Executive Committee.
- Approve annual plans and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with legal and donor requirements.
- Executive Committee
- Includes Chairperson, General Secretary, Treasurer, and Coordinators.
- Minimum of 09 and maximum of 99 members.
- Implements all approved activities / programs and maintain records.
- Term: 2 years (continue up to the formation of another committee).
- Advisory Panel
- Composed of national (Advisor) and international (Country Ambassador) renowned personals, well-wishers, Moral Parents, Campus Guardians or experts.
- As ambassador of MPT / MPF, contribute to its improvement and expansion.Article VI: Finance and Assets
- Sources of Funds: MPT/MPF shall raise funds through donations, grants, sponsorships, membership fees, and fundraising activities, both nationally and internationally.
- Bank Account: One or more bank accounts shall be maintained in the name of Moral Parenting Trust and jointly operated by two authorized signatories.
- Administrative Expenses: A portion of donations may be used to cover operational costs, with approval from the Board of Trustees or the Founder.
- Honorarium: Active members may receive an honorarium as determined by the Board of Trustees or the Founder.
- Donor Privacy: Donors may access their own contribution records. All donation details will remain confidential and not shared publicly or with other donors.
- Self-Reliance: MPT/MPF will always remain a humanitarian, non-profit organization. However, with approval from the Trustee Board or Founder, its brand or network may be used for income-generating ventures, with a portion of profits donated to MPF.
- Audit: An annual financial audit shall be conducted by a certified auditor, if required.
- Transparency: All financial transactions must be recorded digitally and reports shared with concerned donors.
- Assets: All assets, current and future, shall be the sole property of MPT.
Article VII: Meetings
- Annual General Meeting (AGM): Once in two years.
- Board of Trustees Meeting: Once a year.
- Executive Committee Meeting: As required.
- Notice: Proper notice should be circulated before the each meeting.
- Quorum: The quorum will be one-third for board of Trustees, one-fifth for executive committee and one-tenth for General members.
- Medium: The meeting will be conducted online and offline as convenience.
Article VIII: Code of Conduct
- All members and stakeholders must maintain ethical standards.
- Zero tolerance in dishonesty, immoral activities or any other actions / activities harmful for the humanity or the state.
- Transparency in financial system, confidentiality in personal information and child & female safeguarding must be prioritized.
- The organization and its members shall not be held responsible for any individual member’s personal beliefs or actions.
- The founder may appoint or expel any member from any committee or from MPF for the wellbeing of the Trust.
Article IX: Amendments
- Any article of this Constitution may be amended by a one-thirds majority in a Board of Trustees meeting, with proper notice and rationale and with the final approval of the founder.
Article X: Dissolution Clause
- In the event of dissolution, all remaining funds and assets shall be transferred to another registered charitable organization with similar objectives, or directed toward another noble cause, as determined by the Board of Trustees or Founder.
